Google announced today that they are going to change their advertising policies in September 2014, with the launch of their new and improved AdWords Policy Centre.
Why is Google making this changes?
Google wants to make AdWords policies more user-friendly, accessible and engaging for paid search marketers and users. It is also a step towards greater transparency, intended to give online marketers a clearer picture of what Google cares about and why.
According to Google we can expect:

What does the new AdWords Policy Centre mean for you?
According to Google, you don’t need to worry too much if your paid search campaigns comply with their existing policies. However, it is advised that you spend some time to familiarise yourself with the new policies and consider whether you need to make any changes before September.
